It’s that dreaded time of year when we head out in the morning to go to work or school and our car windows have frosted over. There isn’t anyone we know that enjoys defrosting and scraping their car. So, how can we make this easier?
Firstly, you want to go outside earlier than you want to leave to give yourself more time. You should begin by turning your car engine on and having the fans on at full speed and temperature to the windows only. This way the car will warm up from the inside and begin to melt the ice making it easier to scrape.
We also recommend investing in a bottle of deicing spray. This is a solution that you spray over your windows to help melt the frost and make it slushy. Unfortunately, once the first frost hits, it does become difficult to purchase this spray as everyone wants it to help them out in the morning.
